A little preview of the upcoming SHIB Metaverse project
The Shiba Inu Metaverse project is almost complete, revealing the finished design of its latest hub, which will be called The Rocket Pond.
The Shiba Inu team has announced some upcoming plans for the virtual world, including the unveiling of rocket pond in the coming days and a tournament where players can win land.
Rocket Pond is one of the 11 hubs that make up Shiba Inu’s Metaverse project. The SHIB team reportedly first shared a black and white sketch of the Rocket Pond complex on September 13, 2022.
A color theme of the hub was released three days later to give users a taste of what the Metaverse will look like when it debuts.
Shiba Inu makes noise in the metaverse
The project, dubbed “SHIB: The Metaverse” aims to increase the utility of the Shiba Inu environment. Shiba Inu’s developers announced in an update on Monday that the opening is planned for December of this year.
In a blog post, the SHIB team explained that Rocket Pond aims to both tell the story of the Shiba Inu through visual representations and evoke the feel of a remote mountain resort.

In addition, the building design draws inspiration from a number of well-known locations such as Lake Tahoe and Cape Canaveral.

The term “metaverse” refers to a virtual environment where users can have fully immersive and connected interactions with other users and digital objects. It works like a large virtual reality room that anyone with the necessary technology can access online.
Avatars are used in this virtual environment for a variety of purposes, including gaming, socializing, shopping, and even work, among others. The metaverse has the potential to radically change the way people communicate and interact with online material in the future of the internet.
Around 100,595 lots are being created by users for the Shiba Inu Metaverse project. With the help of their lots, landowners can gather materials for the game and earn rewards.
A monetary reward method is also in the works, and the developers want to ensure that each participant has their own workspace for building and managing.

Metaverse market expands
Shytoshi Kusama, the SHIB developer’s alias, who unveiled a poster-like image at last month’s SXSW music festival, claimed it showed a glimpse of the metaverse as seen in-game.
According to Statista, the global metaverse market was worth $65.5 billion in 2022. This amount is expected to reach $82 billion in 2023 and then grow to $937 billion by 2030.
