NYPD on the hunt for restaurant purse thieves

On Wednesday, February 15, at approximately 8:30 p.m., a 31-year-old woman dined at Felice’s at 240 Columbus Avenue (West 71st Street). Police say: “While her purse was not with her but was in close proximity to her, two unidentified individuals were able to successfully remove her wallet from her purse.”
The suspects fled the scene and used the victim’s credit card to purchase $1,524 worth of merchandise from the Apple Store at 767 Fifth Avenue (59th Street). The suspects are wanted for grand larceny as the value of the stolen property exceeds $1,000.
