Palawan CARP beneficiaries attend digital marketing and branding seminars

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) MIMAROPA hosted a comprehensive seminar on digital marketing for local cooperatives in partnership with RCBC and DTI Palawan on Tuesday.

The goal of the event in Narra, Palawan was to equip nine Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Organizations (ARBOs) with digital tools and techniques to help CARP beneficiaries.

The seminar provided a platform for ARBOs to explore different approaches to digital marketing in order to reach a broader customer base and improve their online presence.

RCBC representatives Mr. Donato Flores and Mr. Rennier Katigbak also presented their latest program, the RCBC ATM Go. This new initiative demonstrated the potential of digital transformation for businesses and offered attendees a glimpse into the future of financial services. By highlighting the benefits of the RCBC ATM Go, the seminar provided ARBO with valuable knowledge on how to use digital banking solutions to streamline their operations and expand their reach.

The digital marketing seminar was also made available online. Twelve business advisors from Negosyo Center attended the event remotely, underscoring the commitment to expanding learning opportunities beyond physical borders. This virtual aspect of the seminar allowed a wider audience to benefit from the discussions and shared resources, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Meanwhile, DTI MIMAROPA also hosted a comprehensive branding seminar in Roxas, Palawan on Wednesday, May 24th. The event focused on the Dumarao Greenfields Multi-Purpose Cooperative. The discussion was moderated by Ms. Mabel Pagayona and Mr. Francis Uapal, Regional and Provincial Coordinators of CARP, who highlighted the importance of branding for organizations.

The seminar also focused on the crucial aspect of protecting brand assets through intellectual property (IP) rights. By emphasizing the importance of protecting intellectual property, participants were given the knowledge needed to protect their brands and prevent unauthorized use or infringement.

The seminar served as a platform for ARBOs to understand the legal mechanisms available to protect their intellectual property and thus further consolidate their market positions.
